Zebra (Armadillidium maculatum)

• Care: ★☆☆☆☆ Easy

• Hardiness: ★★★★☆ High

• Reproduction: ★★★☆☆ Moderate

Zebra Isopods (Armadillidium maculatum) are a bold, high-contrast species with crisp black and white banding that makes them easy to spot in a display enclosure. They’re active, hardy, and one of the more beginner-friendly decorative isopods.

They establish readily and reproduce at a moderate pace without usually becoming overwhelming. Provide plenty of leaf litter, decaying wood, calcium, and a moisture gradient with a humid side and a drier side. Every isopod order includes a complimentary bottle of ACE Colony Rations to help get your new residents settled in.
