The idea behind Armor Class Exotics, and the small breeding program we're building.
Armor Class Exotics began with a simple goal: build the kind of crested gecko collection that I would want to buy from.

ACE is small by design. Pairings are chosen because there’s something specific I want to explore, improve, or carry forward—not simply because two geckos are ready to breed. Some projects lean pale and quiet, others dark and dramatic, and some start with one particular animal and the question of where that look could go.

The tabletop influence runs through more than the name. Every gecko is photographed individually and gets an Armor Class NPC Profile that turns the usual animal record into something a little more fitting: HP, AC, level, alignment, traits, temperament, lineage, and field notes included. Behind the character sheet is real information about the animal, with the ACE Codex keeping that record accessible long after the card goes home.

ACE is still growing, and I’m not interested in pretending otherwise. Projects will change as animals mature, offspring show what a pairing actually produced, and better decisions become possible. The goal is to build deliberately, keep what moves each project forward, and produce healthy geckos I’d be excited to bring home myself.
